Job summary

Travere Therapeutics is seeking an Associate Director, Search and Evaluation to lead external innovation evaluation for in-licensing, acquisitions, or collaborations. You will partner with Travere’s scientific experts to understand rare disease landscapes and prioritize opportunities to advance leadership in the field.

You will collaborate across disciplines to build the deal pipeline, conduct thorough assessments, and participate in diligence, contracting, and integration activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years of relevant scientific experience in biotech/pharma with BD, S&E focus.
• Proven ability to interpret data and collaborate cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with scientific leaders to define external sourcing strategy.
• Identify leads and source BD opportunities aligned with company goals.
• Conduct thorough scientific evaluations for in-licensing or collaborations.
• Serve on cross-functional deal teams through diligence and negotiation.
• Build relationships with biopharma researchers and potential partners.
• Stay informed on industry trends to guide search strategies.
• Leverage publications, conferences, and databases for asset discovery.
