Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field required; advanced degree preferred.
• 9+ years in software or data engineering, or related roles, with leadership experience.
• Proven track record in managing technical teams and mentoring staff.
• Hands-on experience with AI and machine learning solutions.
• Strong programming skills in SAS, R, and Python for clinical data workflows.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Experience in regulated environments such as pharmaceuticals or healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of in-house applications and AI solutions for clinical functions.
• Manage and mentor a team of engineers and programmers, fostering a collaborative culture.
• Define the clinical solutions roadmap in partnership with functional leaders.
• Oversee development of applications and dashboards for clinical data analysis.
• Guide design and delivery of scalable AI solutions in regulated settings.
• Contribute to development of AI agents for multi-step workflows.
• Modernize analytical code and workflows across programming languages.
