Job summary

Crossing Hurdles is seeking a Legal Expert for risk & compliance tasks delivered remotely. The contractor will create expert-level tasks across contract drafting, litigation support, and legal research, with 8 hours overlap during PST business hours.

You will work under senior review, refine tasks for accuracy, clarity, and practical applicability, and apply rubric standards set by the Functional SME Lead. This full-time commitment requires 40 hours per week, with remote collaboration across

Qualifications

3–8 years of legal practice, Associate level preferred.
JD or equivalent with active US bar admission.
Strong experience in contract drafting, litigation support, and legal research.
Ability to analyze complex legal issues and translate them into practical, high-quality tasks.
Paralegals and Legal Assistants should not apply.

Responsibilities

Create expert-level legal tasks and solutions across contract, litigation-support, and legal-research workflows.
Evaluate and refine tasks to meet quality standards for accuracy, clarity, and practical applicability.
Work under senior review and incorporate calibration feedback to continuously improve task quality.
Apply rubric standards and guidance established by the Functional SME (Expert) Lead.
