Crossing Hurdles seeks a Legal Expert to perform high-level legal tasks across contract drafting, litigation support, and legal research. This remote contractor role requires full-time commitment (40 hours/week) with 8 hours overlap during PST business hours.

Responsibilities include evaluating task quality, refining outputs under senior review, and applying established rubric guidance. A JD or equivalent and active US bar are required, with 3–8 years of practice preferred.

Qualifikationen

• 3–8 years of legal practice, Associate level preferred.
• JD or equivalent with active US bar admission.
• Strong experience in contract drafting, litigation support, and legal research.
• Ability to analyze complex legal issues and translate them into practical, high-quality tasks.
• Paralegals and Legal Assistants should not apply.

• Create expert-level legal tasks and solutions across contract, litigation-support, and legal-research workflows.
• Evaluate and refine tasks to meet quality standards for accuracy, clarity, and practical applicability.
• Work under senior review and incorporate calibration feedback to continuously improve task quality.
• Apply rubric standards and guidance established by the Functional SME (Expert) Lead.
