Job summary

Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. (QPWB) seeks an Associate Attorney to join the Financial Services Division in a remote role for an attorney licensed in Illinois. Focus on creditors' rights, foreclosure, and related litigation for financial institutions and lenders.

The ideal candidate will have foreclosure experience, strong research and writing skills, and the ability to manage a caseload remotely while communicating with clients and courts.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Excellent legal research and writing skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently in a remote environment.
• Familiarity with Illinois foreclosure procedures and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Handle foreclosure and creditors' rights matters from inception to resolution.
• Represent lenders, mortgage servicers, financial institutions, and other creditors in litigation.
• Draft pleadings, motions, complaints, discovery requests and responses.
• Manage residential and commercial foreclosure matters, including contested proceedings.
• Conduct legal research on Illinois foreclosure laws and regulations.
• Attend court hearings, case management conferences, mediations, and other proceedings as needed.
• Develop litigation strategies and advise on case resolution.
