Velo Law Office is seeking an Associate Attorney to support its debt collection and litigation practice remotely. You will draft pleadings, motions, and correspondence, conduct legal research, and craft case strategies under senior attorney supervision.

You will communicate with clients and opposing counsel, provide legal guidance within the scope of representation, and participate in negotiations to maximize recoveries. Remote work and multi-state practice are core aspects of the role.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Law with experience or coursework related to debt collection, civil litigation, or commercial law.
• Knowledge of Labor and Employment Law and related regulatory frameworks beneficial for advising business clients.
• Proficient in legal research across multiple jurisdictions and skilled in clear written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, and correspondence; conduct legal research and prepare case strategies under supervision.
• Communicate with clients and opposing counsel; provide legal advice within scope of representation and participate in negotiations.
