Job summary

Rausch Sturm LLP seeks an Associate Attorney licensed in Nebraska to handle creditor's rights matters in a fully remote role. The ideal candidate will manage all facets of civil litigation, attend hearings, draft pleadings, and travel as needed.

Preferred additional Iowa licensure. Strong written and oral communication skills, and the ability to handle a busy caseload in a dynamic environment are essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice law in Nebraska; admission or eligibility required.
• Iowa licensure preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of civil litigation and trial basics.
• Ability to analyze regulations and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery.

Responsibilities

• Review correspondence and files; prepare discovery and dispositive motions.
• Attend court hearings and sign pleadings as needed.
• Provide analysis on legal/regulatory risks for cases.
• Manage own caseload with deadlines and priority setting.
• Travel as required to court and client meetings.
