Job summary

Rausch-Sturm is seeking an Associate Attorney licensed to practice in Nebraska for a fully remote role. The attorney will attend court, sign pleadings, settle cases, and handle a full caseload in debt collection matters.

Ideal candidates will have civil litigation experience and be able to analyze risk while complying with state and federal rules. Flexibility to travel for court appearances may be required.

Qualifications

• Nebraska bar admission is required.
• Experience in civil litigation and court appearances preferred.
• Knowledge of bankruptcy, foreclosure, FDCPA/FCRA/TCPA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Attend court hearings when required.
• Sign pleadings and discovery documents and prepare for trials.
• Litigate debt collection matters and manage caseload.
• Provide risk analysis and advise on legal/regulatory risks.
• Develop strategies compliant with state and federal rules.
