The role requires coordinating with the firm's New York headquarters via telephone and email, while predominantly serving clients in Texas.

You will draft pleadings and motions, perform legal research, communicate with clients and opposing parties, and support settlements.

Qualifications

• Experience drafting legal documents (pleadings, memoranda)
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage heavy workload
• Strong legal research skills; LexisNexis is a plus

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and supervising a heavy caseload in Houston, TX
• Communicating with clients about matters
• Drafting pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda; reviewing & drafting agreements
• Communicating with opposing parties to resolve/settle claims
• Conducting legal research related to contract and consumer law
