Job summary

Qualifications

• JD or LLB from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Washington bar in good standing; other licenses may be required.
• Knowledge of insurance law and workers' compensation when needed.
• Proficient in e-discovery, case management systems, and basic legal analysis tools.
• Strong analytical, research, and legal writing skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication; collaborative with clients and senior attorneys.
• Organized and time-managed with ability to handle cases end-to-end under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Litigation management across discovery, hearings, trials, and motions.
• Provide legal opinions and strategic advice to Claims Representatives and insured clients.
• Utilize e-discovery and case management tech to improve efficiency.
• Coordinate with remote team members and support remote work.
• Identify risks and work with senior counsel to facilitate resolutions.
• Ensure accurate, compliant pleadings and motions.
• Provide timely updates to insured clients and claims professionals.
• Contribute to Staff Legal and Global Legal & Compliance process improvements.
• Uphold ethical compliance and licensing requirements.
