Job summary

New York Life seeks an Associate Account Executive to manage a client portfolio in the 250–499 lives segment, focusing on retention, growth, and service. You'll partner with clients, brokers, and internal teams to drive renewals and identify upsell opportunities.

You will develop through an 8-week training program, collaborate across underwriting, sales, and service, and contribute to process improvements while navigating a matrix organization.

Qualifications

• Experience in Life, Accident, Disability, and/or Leave benefits preferred.
• Strong negotiation, influencing, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills; active listening is key.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients primarily in the 250–499 lives segment focusing on retention, growth and service.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and brokers, support renewals, and pursue upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
• Collaborate with underwriting and internal teams; participate in training and special projects; ensure compliance in activities.
