Job summary

Convergint Technologies, LLC is seeking a proactive Assistant Project Manager to support the IPM team and fixed banking deployments. You will coordinate cross-functional activities, manage scope, and help deliver safe, on-time, and financially sound outcomes.

This customer-facing role requires strong communication and problem-solving abilities, and you will work under PM oversight across multiple sites. Knowledge of project controls and MS Office is preferred; CAPM/PMP coursework is a plus.

Qualifications

• Basic project management experience in a technical environment.
• Ability to coordinate multiple concurrent projects, priorities, locations, and stakeholders.
• Developing knowledge of project financials, job cost reporting, forecasting, change control, and cash-flow drivers.
• Strong written and verbal communication, customer service, organization, problem-solving, and escalation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead fixed banking projects or workstreams from kickoff through closeout under PM oversight.
• Maintain accurate records, schedules, risks, decisions, dependencies, and closeout status.
• Coordinate kickoff, timelines, resources, and communication across stakeholders and teams.
• Monitor scope, milestones, labor, cost, material status, quality, and installation progress; manage risks.
• Support forecasting, change-order documentation, invoicing readiness, and cash flow through milestones.
