Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Assistant Project Manager to support the Integrated Project Management team on fixed banking deployments. This customer-facing role coordinates cross-functional activities, maintains project controls, and drives on-time, quality, and financially responsible outcomes across multiple sites.

You will manage scope, schedules, risks, and communication under Program or Project Manager oversight, leveraging tools like iTrac, MS Project, and Office 365 to deliver

Qualifications

• Experience in project management in technical environments such as security or building automation.
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects and stakeholders in a deadline-driven environment.
• Familiarity with project financials, forecasting, and cash-flow drivers.

Responsibilities

• Lead fixed banking projects from kickoff through closeout under PM oversight.
• Maintain accurate records, schedules, trackers, risks, decisions, dependencies, and closeout status per IPM playbooks.
• Coordinate kickoff, ownership, timelines, resources, and communication across stakeholders and teams.
• Monitor scope, milestones, labor, cost, material status, quality, and progress; escalate risks.
• Support forecasting, change orders, invoicing readiness, and positive cash flow.
• Provide status updates, lead meetings, and follow through on decisions.
• Drive punch-list completion, customer acceptance, and final documentation.
