Job summary

MEDTEAM, a division of Harris, seeks an Assistant Director to manage revenue cycle services across billing, collections, AR, coding, and denials. This remote role supports U.S. clients with occasional travel (up to 25%), preferably EST/CST time zones.

The position requires leadership of teams and delivery of performance targets aligned with client goals. Ideal candidates have 7+ years in healthcare revenue cycle with 3+ years in leadership, and experience with MEDHOST, Oracle/Cerner, Meditech or

Qualifications

• 7+ years in healthcare revenue cycle services in hospital settings
• 3+ years in a leadership role with multiple EHRs
• Proven client relationship skills and ability to travel up to 25%

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop frontline managers, team leads, and staff across revenue cycle functions
• Oversee daily operations to meet performance standards and service levels
• Promote accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
• Ensure accurate and timely execution of billing, posting, collections, AR follow-up, and denial management
• Monitor workload and allocate resources to client needs
• Escalate operational risks to senior leadership
• Support automation and AI-driven optimization initiatives
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide performance updates
