Qualifications

• Master's degree in higher education, student affairs, human resources, or related fields.
• A minimum of three years relevant experience with student conduct, or academic integrity hearings.
• Strong understanding of due process and fundamental fairness for students in higher education.
• Ability to analyze, mediate, and resolve complex problems.
• Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks.
• Experience with assessment and reporting trends.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Evidence of ability to communicate, engage, and develop rapport with individuals of diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, adjudicate, and resolve alleged violations of the Student Conduct Code, ensuring fair, consistent, and educational outcomes that uphold due process and university policy.
• Coordinate and manage the university's academic integrity process, including case review, hearing administration, documentation, communication with students and faculty, and implementation of hearing outcomes.
• Recruit, train, and coordinate members of the Student Conduct and Academic Integrity Hearing Committees, ensuring annual training and ongoing professional development.
• Ensure that all hearing members are trained on annual basis.
• Develop and deliver training workshops and presentations on topics related to community standards, student conduct, academic integrity, and de-escalation.
• Assist Executive Director of Student Experience in seeking resolution to escalated student concerns.
• Analyze trends in student conduct and academic integrity, prepare assessment reports, and recommend policy, process, and educational improvements that support student success and institutional effectiveness.
• Utilize university technology systems, including Maxient, to manage student conduct and academic integrity cases, maintain accurate and confidential case records, document communications and outcomes, and support consistent processes, reporting, and compliance with university policies.
• Maintain confidentiality and respectful communication when dealing with students and colleagues around sensitive issues.
• Partner with colleagues in the Office of Student Experience to streamline student leadership training and development, work with club leaders and officers to create a community of respect, and serve as an integral member of the Student Experience team to ensure students are engaged in civil discourse and professional development.
• Serve as point of contact for student conduct and academic integrity matters in the absence of the Executive Director.
