SUNY Oneonta seeks an Associate Director of Community Standards to lead the Office of Community Standards, overseeing investigation, adjudication, and compliance with the Code of Student Conduct. This 12-month position reports to the Associate Vice President of Student Affairs and engages with students, campus partners, and community resources.

Responsibilities include coordinating hearings, developing assessment plans, supervising staff, and liaising with Title IX.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree required in higher education administration or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in student conduct or related area.
• Experience in Title IX cases and investigation/adjudication.
• Prior supervisory experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Oversee investigation and adjudication of alleged violations of the Code of Student Conduct for individuals and student organizations.
• Coordinate standing disciplinary board hearings and appeal process.
• Collaborate with Title IX Coordinator to ensure proper investigation and compliance in cases involving sexual violence and related issues.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive assessment plan for the Office of Community Standards.
• Provide supervision to Hearing Officer, Hearing Board, and Administrative Assistant.
• Provide training and consultation for staff, faculty, and Greek Life, and serve as liaison to Greek Life and the Greek Life J-Board.
• Serve as Chair of BAIT and manage documentation and communication for team members.
• Participate in campus committees and work groups; support conflict resolution resources on campus.
