Job summary

The University of Texas at El Paso seeks an Assistant Director of Community Standards to provide operational leadership for the Office of Community Standards and support the student conduct process within Student Affairs. This role ensures fair, educational resolutions, supervises staff, and partners with Title IX, faculty, and campus partners to advance student success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in higher education or related field.
• Minimum of three years of professional experience in student conduct or comparable area.
• Experience with investigation, adjudication, and appeals in a college setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports administration of the university student conduct process for misconduct cases; ensures fair, educational resolutions.
• Coordinates intake, review, investigation, adjudication, sanctioning, and records management.
• Provides training and outreach to students, staff, and campus partners on reporting options and due process.
• Supervises assigned staff and collaborates with Title IX, Student Affairs, Residence Life, and Campus Police.
