Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an Assistant Controller to support financial operations in a growing SaaS company. The role emphasizes accuracy in revenue recognition, month-end closes, and audit readiness, while driving process improvements in a fully remote environment.

The ideal candidate brings 6+ years of accounting experience, a Bachelor's degree in accounting, and strong Excel and NetSuite skills. You will collaborate with the finance team, external auditors, and tax advisors to strengthen controls

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of relevant accounting experience in a SaaS or tech environment.
• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and month-end close.
• Experience with revenue reviews, reconciliations, and audits.

Responsibilities

• Review monthly revenue transactions and investigate discrepancies.
• Coordinate month-end closing and prepare monthly financial statements with notes.
• Manage expense platform and ensure accurate data transfer into the accounting system.
• Supervise staff accountant and approve journal entries and AP submissions.
• Assist audit preparation and respond to auditor inquiries.
• Support transitions to new accounting software and streamline workflows.
• Coordinate annual tax filings with external tax advisors and accountants.
• Develop ad hoc FP&A reports to support business decisions.
