SEH, an employee-owned engineering, architectural, planning and environmental firm, seeks an Assistant Controller to lead all accounting operations, support the annual audit, and partner with the Controller on financial strategy.

This remote role is open to candidates across most US states, offering growth, strong internal controls, and opportunities to mentor staff while shaping the company’s financial future.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• CPA certification required (Active or Inactive).
• Hands-on experience across end-to-end accounting operations and audits.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and leadership of accounting teams.

Mansioni

• Lead all accounting operations and monthly/quarterly/annual close.
• Partner with Controller on financial strategy, reporting, and process improvements.
• Manage treasury activities including cash positioning and forecasting.
• Build relationships with external auditors for smooth audits and strong controls.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost management with operations.
• Mentor and develop accounting staff and promote professional growth.
