Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• CPA, active or inactive status.
• Experience as Accounting Manager/Assistant Controller/Controller.
• Experience with annual financial statement audits.
• Broad end-to-end accounting operations experience.
• Strong GAAP knowledge.
• Ability to lead and develop accounting teams.
• Proficient in ERP systems and Excel.
• Strong analytical and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting operations, close processes and financial reporting.
• Evaluate accounting standards and regulatory changes; advise leadership.
• Maintain relationships with external auditors to support audits and controls.
• Manage treasury activities: daily cash positioning, forecasting, banks, covenants.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and internal controls.
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost management with operations.
• Lead, develop, and mentor accounting staff.
• Collaborate with Controller on financial strategy and process improvements.
• Remote role open to candidates in most US states; relocation may be considered.
