Job summary

Arrow Electronics is seeking an Asset Specialist to manage supplier interactions and ensure timely, accurate deliveries for a global supply chain. You will interface with suppliers, resolve issues, and maintain purchasing parameters in a fast-paced, multilingual environment.

Ideal candidates have 2-3 years in a similar role, strong English communication, and experience with ERP systems. This role offers fully remote recruitment and a dynamic, international team.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Self-starter and team player.
• Ability to work and think independently.
• High level of ownership and accountability for tasks.
• Superior organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven verbal and written English communication skills.
• Proven customer service track record.
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle advantageous).
• Experience in global purchasing in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Place supplier purchase orders to meet forecasts and demand.
• Manage supplier backlog including push, pull, cancellations.
• Communicate supply situation to sales team and suppliers.
• Manage escalations with suppliers.
• Resolve receiving and invoice discrepancies.
• Initiate new part creation in the system.
• Ensure supplier performance and clear communications.
• Maintain system parameters for purchasing and suppliers.
• Take broad view to identify solutions to problems.
• Attend meetings with suppliers and act as RMA contact when needed.
