Job summary

Silicon Ranch is seeking a Manager, Asset Management to oversee the safe, compliant, and optimized operation of our utility-scale renewable energy portfolio. You will focus on HSSE, regulatory compliance, and performance to meet production and financial targets.

The role requires coordination with O&M, engineering, and external vendors, and involves budgeting, reporting, and data management to support strategic decisions. Remote work with travel up to 15% is expected.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in Solar/BESS, finance, or project management.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the single point of accountability for commercial operation and performance of assigned assets.
• Prioritize daily activities to maximize revenue generation and financial performance of solar and/or BESS assets.
• Monitor day-to-day operations across multiple locations and ensure assets operate at or above expected levels.
• Lead resolution of asset-related outages to minimize safety and financial impacts.
• Serve as primary contact for O&M providers, landowners, and utilities.
• Oversee maintenance schedules, issue resolution, and warranty claims.
• Track development of project budgets and operating expenses; manage revenue streams.
• Ensure compliance with PPAs, land leases, interconnection agreements, and other contracts.
• Develop and deliver monthly/quarterly performance reports for stakeholders and investors.
• Ensure all projects meet regulatory requirements.
• Lead onboarding for new projects transitioning to asset management.
• Coordinate with development/construction/legal/finance to transfer docs at milestones.
• Ensure asset data setup in management platforms.
• Collaborate to integrate BESS into existing assets.
• Identify opportunities for asset optimization and risk mitigation.
• Support strategic asset management plans to improve performance.
