SunStrong Management, LLC is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a portfolio of renewable energy assets. You will drive performance, reliability, and financial results by directing Portfolio Managers and Field Service Providers, ensuring timely and effective recovery plans when needed.

The role emphasizes outcomes over activity, with accountability for PI, availability, and ROI across solar, battery storage, wind, and EV infrastructure portfolios.

Qualifications

14+ years in solar, BESS, or renewable energy ops preferred.
Proven leadership of high-performance teams.
Deep expertise in solar/BESS systems, OEMs, warranties, RMAs.
Strong understanding of PI, availability, and performance drivers.
Experience managing third-party O&M providers at scale.
Strong financial and operational decision-making capability.

Responsibilities

Own portfolio-level PI, availability, reliability, and financial performance.
Translate underperformance into actionable recovery plans with timelines.
Ensure issues move from identification to root cause to resolution without delay.
Eliminate repeat failures through systemic fixes, not patches.
Own delivery of concise, outcome-focused reporting to leadership and ownership.
