Job summary

The Pacific Companies, a national affordable housing developer, seeks an experienced Asset Manager for the Bay Area portfolio. Role is remote with travel to Idaho and Bay Area properties.

You will oversee financials, compliance, and operations across multiple assets, coordinating with partners and management companies to ensure LIHTC compliance and high performance. Qualified candidates bring 5+ years in real estate asset management, strong financial modeling, and proficiency with Yardi/MRI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Real-Estate, or related field.
• 5+ years in financial or real estate asset/portfolio management.
• Preference for multi-family asset management/operations experience.
• Experience with LIHTC, tax-exempt bonds, HOME funds, and Section 8.
• Ability to multi-task and work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Oversees economic, financial, physical, and compliance needs of portfolio.
• Collaborate with finance, construction, architecture, and accounting to meet standards.
• Review LIHTC documents and understand program implications.
• Review budgets and financial planning to identify issues.
• Work with management companies to ensure accurate financials and audits.
• Identify and resolve project issues with general partners.
• Coordinate with property management and authorities to meet regulatory requirements.
• Collect data, track projects, and share with asset management team.
• Conduct site visits and review property management practices.
• Manage relationships with investors, lenders, and housing agencies.
