Job summary

The Pacific Companies, a national affordable housing leader, is seeking an experienced Asset Manager for the Bay Area portfolio reporting remotely with periodic travel to Idaho and Bay Area properties. You will drive asset performance through financial analysis, compliance, and cross-team collaboration.

You will partner with property management, lenders, and housing agencies to optimize budgets, ensure LIHTC compliance, and support lease-up and reporting requirements across the portfolio.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Management, Real-Estate, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of financial or real estate experience, property or asset management preferred.
  • Experience with LIHTC, tax-exempt bonds, HOME funds, and related regulatory frameworks.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the financial, physical, and compliance needs of the asset portfolio and develops optimization strategies.
  • Collaborates with finance, construction, architecture, and accounting to ensure standards and compliance.
  • Researches regulatory documents related to LIHTC programs and their operational implications.
  • Analyzes budgets, cash flows, and rent rolls to identify issues and support reforecasting.
  • Coordinates with property management and partners to meet lease-up, reporting, and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform site visits and review property management practices to ensure asset performance.
