MidFirst Business Credit seeks a seasoned Business Development Officer to generate and close asset-based lending opportunities across Texas and Oklahoma. You will build a strong referral network, prescreen opportunities, and work with internal teams to deliver structured financing solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
5–10 years of relevant business development experience in commercial lending, asset-based lending preferred.
Established network of referral sources (lenders, bankers, PE firms, brokers).
Proven ability to source, qualify, structure, and advance commercial finance opportunities.

Responsibilities

Maintain and expand an active referral source network.
Generate qualified prospect referrals from contacts and networks.
Interact with prospective borrowers via phone, video, and in-person meetings to qualify opportunities.
Attend networking events and engage with industry associations.
Evaluate deal quality and risks, and advise management.
Prescreen borrowers against loan policy and guidelines.
Submit and negotiate financing proposals with internal stakeholders.
Collaborate with underwriting, portfolio management, and legal teams to close deals.
Input sales activities and pipeline data in Salesforce.com.
