Cribl, a leading B2B SAAS data observability company, is seeking a Technical Revenue Manager to serve as ASC 606 SME and policy author. You will collaborate with Product, Sales, Legal, and Deal Desk to ensure compliant revenue recognition across new offerings.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of accounting experience with deep ASC 606 expertise, strong technical writing skills, and proven ability to influence without authority. This role supports SOX controls and external audits.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Active CPA license.
5+ years of relevant accounting experience with at least 2+ years in Technical Revenue.
Deep ASC 606 expertise for multi-element, consumption-based/hybrid arrangements.
Experience with standalone selling price, POBs, variable consideration, and contract modifiers.
Proven ability to write technical accounting papers and defend them under audit.

Responsibilities

Serve as ASC 606 subject-matter expert and document revenue policies for new offerings.
Research and write technical revenue position papers on complex transactions.
Evaluate commercial structures and deployment models for accounting treatment and POBs.
Lead cross-functional initiatives to scale technical revenue processes and automation.
Act as primary contact for auditors and maintain SOX documentation.
Support month-end/quarterly close and revenue flux analysis.
Assist on M&A diligence and integration related to revenue accounting.
