Job summary

Destination Pet LLC is seeking an Area Vice President to lead a remote team across centers, traveling 80%+. You will drive growth, manage operations, and ensure top‑tier care and service quality while aligning with corporate policies and safety programs.

You’ll report to the VP of Operations and guide District Directors in executing strategies, monitoring performance, and delivering exceptional experiences for pets and clients alike.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of management experience in a multi-unit environment within the pet and vet industry.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Exceptional leadership and organizational acumen.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and database applications.
• Proactive problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as on-call support.

Responsibilities

• Lead and model the mission, culture, and policies across the area.
• Ensure centers deliver top quality care and exceptional service.
• Monitor day-to-day operations and revenue-driving initiatives.
• Lead growth plans and MBRS with District Directors.
• Analyze financial reports and KPIs to guide decisions.
• Oversee revenue expansion opportunities and inventory management.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and safety programs.
• Develop growth plans with management and safety leaders.
• Foster a safety‑focused culture among teams.
