Job summary

Piab Group is seeking an Area Sales Manager to grow our vacuum conveying business in the Western U.S. You will drive direct sales and channel partnerships, expand the customer base, and collaborate across Piab divisions to hit revenue goals.

You will travel up to 50%+, provide on-site technical support, and lead territory planning and training for partners. Join a global leader in automation and make an impact across industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
• Minimum 3–5 years technical sales experience, preferably in production equipment sales.
• Excellent English skills, verbal and written.
• Experience with direct sales and channel partners.
• Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and sales processes.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%+ and work remotely in the Western US.

Responsibilities

• Grow sales via direct sales and channel partners for vacuum conveying products and accessories.
• Develop and implement territory business plans aligned with company goals.
• Document sales activity including visits, opportunities, leads, and accounts using Salesforce CRM.
• Lead monthly Business Reviews with Manufacturers Representatives and channel partners.
• Provide on-site technical support and start-up/troubleshooting for customers.
• Develop and deliver training to customers and partners on new products and tools.
• Lead joint and direct sales calls based on target value and potential.
• Collaborate with Piab divisions and internal teams to meet quotas and grow the territory.
• Participate in channel partner meetings, trade shows, and events.
• Report weekly/monthly territory activity and issues to VP – Sales.
