Cato Networks is seeking an Area Sales Director to drive revenue across Illinois and Wisconsin, leading a team of Sales Directors and closing high‑value deals. You will operate from a home office, reporting to the AVP Sales, Central, and help propel growth in a fast‑moving cloud networking and security market.

You will be part of a globally ambitious sales organization, building executive relationships with key prospects and partners while adapting to rapid expansion and new models.

Qualifications

• Senior sales experience with leadership and management track record.
• Hunter with 10+ years of field and remote sales experience.
• Experience selling cloud-based solutions to C-level and technical buyers.
• 2+ years managing an individual contributor sales team.
• Channel recruitment and enablement with proven channel sales success.
• Strong forecasting and contract negotiation skills.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up like environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Sales Directors to meet individual and team quotas.
• Lead end-to-end sales cycles, negotiate and close complex deals.
• Develop the Southeast US market and foster key partner relationships.
• Coordinate pipeline reviews, coaching, and training sessions.
• Define and implement corporate objectives scorecards for productivity.
• Attract, hire, onboard and retain top sales talent.
• Collaborate with Presales, Operations, Product, and Customer Success teams.
