First Student, Inc. is seeking an Area Recruiter to support hiring across the South Region, with emphasis on Louisiana and Mississippi.

This remote role includes travel to support recruiting initiatives, events, and location-specific needs, partnering with local leaders to manage multiple requisitions. You will develop recruiting strategies, interview candidates, use ATS, track metrics, coordinate onboarding, and ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recruiting, staffing, or talent acquisition experience (regional or high-volume recruiting preferred).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to build relationships with candidates and managers.
• Experience with ATS platforms and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local travel.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain a strong candidate pipeline and manage multiple requisitions.
• Conduct phone, virtual, and in-person interviews.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, role requirements, and timelines.
• Attend onsite recruiting events, job fairs, and community outreach initiatives.
• Coordinate onboarding logistics and ensure a smooth candidate transition into employment.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws.
• Provide regular updates and recruiting reports to leadership.
