Job summary

SGA Design Group is seeking detail-oriented Architects to lead construction administration and site assessment for national, high-volume programs. The role requires traveling extensively and coordinating with clients, contractors, and internal teams to maintain momentum and ensure design intent is met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture.
• Licensed Architect preferred.
• 10+ years of experience with a strong emphasis on Construction Administration.
• Experience with national retail or high-volume rollout programs is preferred.
• Proficiency in Revit preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, detailing, and code compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to manage construction-phase communication and problem-solving.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently across multiple concurrent projects.

Responsibilities

• Construction Administration: conduct site visits, verify progress, review RFIs, submittals, and field inquiries.
• Site Assessments & Scope Trips: national travel for on-site evaluations, field measurements, and docs.
• Project Management & Scheduling: manage projects from site assessment through closeout and track milestones.
• Quality Control: participate in QC reviews, verify drawings, ensure alignment with codes and standards.
