Jobgether is seeking an Accounts Receivable Resolution Specialist for a fully remote, full-time role in the United States. You will manage complex AR, investigate denials, and coordinate payer appeals to accelerate payments for a behavioral health organization.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on insurance claims follow-up and denial management experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and a background in physician or healthcare facility billing.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in insurance claims follow-up and denial management.
• Bachelor's degree in healthcare or related field required.
• At least 2 years in insurance claims follow-up and 2 years in denial management.
• At least 5 years in physician or healthcare facility business office.
• Remote work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow up daily on assigned accounts to reduce AR and accelerate reimbursement.
• Review denied claims and identify resolution strategies, including authorization and precertification.
• Prepare and submit appeal letters and payer documentation through WAYSTAR for unpaid or underpaid claims.
• Prioritize account resolution activities to improve efficiency and collections outcomes.
• Document actions and progress using Avatar and WAYSTAR.
• Meet departmental productivity and performance requirements.
• Follow reporting lines and participate in initiatives to reduce outstanding AR.
• Assist billing teams in responding to incoming mail and other correspondence.
