Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an Accounts Receivable Resolution Specialist based in the United States for a fully remote, full-time role. You will manage complex AR cases, investigate denials, and coordinate payer appeals to accelerate payments.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in insurance claims follow-up, denial management, and healthcare billing.
• At least 2 years in insurance claims follow-up and denial management; 5+ years in healthcare facility business office.
• Remote work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on assigned accounts daily to reduce outstanding AR and accelerate reimbursement.
• Review denied claims promptly and identify resolution strategies, including authorization and precertification.
• Prepare and submit appeal letters and payer documentation through WAYSTAR for unpaid/underpaid claims.
• Prioritize account resolution activities to improve efficiency and collections outcomes.
• Document actions and progress using standardized notes in Avatar and WAYSTAR.
• Meet productivity and performance requirements set by the department.
• Communicate issues and recommendations to leadership using SBAR format.
• Follow reporting lines and participate in initiatives to reduce AR.
• Troubleshoot technology issues and escalate per guidelines.
• Assist billing teams in responding to incoming mail and correspondence.
