Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an Accounts Receivable Resolution Specialist for a fully remote, full-time position in the United States. You will manage complex AR cases, investigate denials, and coordinate appeals to accelerate payments with insurance providers and third-party payers within a behavioral health organization.

You will collaborate with billing teams, healthcare providers, patients, and insurers to resolve payment discrepancies, strengthen revenue cycle processes, and support timely crisis

Qualifications

• 2+ years in insurance claims follow-up
• 2+ years in claims denial management
• 5+ years in physician/healthcare facility business office
• 1+ year remote work experience
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or related field
• Experience in physician/facility billing or auditing in behavioral health environment

Responsibilities

• Follow up on assigned accounts daily to reduce AR and accelerate reimbursement.
• Review denied claims and identify resolution strategies, including authorization, retroactive authorization, and precertification.
• Prepare and submit appeals with payer documentation through WAYSTAR for unpaid or underpaid claims.
• Prioritize account resolution activities to improve efficiency and collections.
• Document actions and progress using Avatar and WAYSTAR.
• Meet established departmental productivity and performance requirements.
• Follow reporting lines and participate in initiatives to reduce outstanding AR.
• Assist billing teams in handling incoming mail and correspondence.
