• Experience in insurance claims follow-up and denial management within healthcare.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills for handling multiple complex accounts.
• Remote-work experience and ability to work independently in a distributed team.
• Knowledge of billing, reimbursement processes, and denial resolution.

Aufgaben

• Follow up on assigned accounts daily to reduce outstanding AR and accelerate reimbursement.
• Review denied claims and identify resolution strategies (authorization, retroactive authorization, precertification).
• Prepare and submit appeal letters and payer documentation through Waystar for unpaid/underpaid claims.
• Prioritize account resolution activities to improve efficiency and collections.
• Document actions in Avatar and Waystar using standard formats.
• Meet productivity and performance requirements of the department.
• Communicate issues and improvement opportunities to leadership using SBAR.
• Follow reporting lines and participate in initiatives to reduce AR.
• Troubleshoot technology issues and escalate per guidelines.
• Assist billing teams with handling incoming mail and correspondence.
• Perform additional duties to support department objectives.
