Job summary

Connections Health Solutions, a behavioral health crisis care provider, seeks an Accounts Resolution Specialist to ensure accurate billing, follow-up on claims, and denial management. This remote role supports our finance team in optimizing reimbursements and reducing accounts receivable through detailed analysis and timely communications.

The ideal candidate brings experience with insurance follow-up, denial appeals, and payer requirements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of insurance claims follow-up experience.
• 2+ years of claim denial management experience.
• 5+ years of experience in a physician and/or facility business office.
• 1+ year of experience working in a remote environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in health care or related field is required.
• 5+ years of physician/facility billing/auditing experience in a behavioral health setting.

Responsibilities

• Follow daily accounts per leadership to reduce AR.
• Validate denied claims promptly and determine denial resolution.
• Use WAYSTAR to submit appeal letters and payer documentation.
• Prioritize work to increase collections efficiency.
• Document actions in Avatar and WAYSTAR with standard notes.
• Assist billing with replies to incoming mail and correspondence.
