Job summary

Kodiak Cakes, LLC is hiring a Trade & Deductions AR Analyst in Park City, Utah or Remote. The role focuses on cash application, deductions, collections, and AR reporting to protect cash flow and optimize trade spend.

You will work with Sales, Commercial Finance, Customer Service, and IT to automate workflows using Power BI and ERP tools. A strong Excel background and experience with NetSuite or similar systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience owning core accounts receivable work, including cash application and aging management.
• Experience validating trade deductions, billbacks, promotions, pricing claims, or similar offsets against plans and documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience using ERP and trade‑promotion management systems; familiarity with NetSuite, BluePlanner, and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Own daily cash application and customer account reconciliation.
• Research and resolve deductions by comparing claims with trade plans, contracts and pricing.
• Manage collections and credit procedures by monitoring past‑due balances and documenting commitments.
• Reconcile invoicing with third‑party logistics inventory reporting and investigate variances.
• Maintain weekly accounts receivable aging reports and KPI dashboards; analyze deduction trends.
• Partner with Sales, Commercial Finance, Customer Service and brokers to resolve disputes and document trade agreements.
• Support month‑end close, reconcilations, accruals, and internal controls; improve AR workflows with IT tools.
