Job summary

Ladder is seeking a SecOps/AppSec Engineer (Clojure required) to own application security vulnerability management within our development lifecycles. You will partner with engineering teams, strengthen shift-left security, and monitor cloud infrastructure with real-time responses.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering and/or cybersecurity experience
• Hands-on coding experience in Clojure on the JVM
• Experience securing cloud infrastructures and incident response

Responsibilities

• Lead application security vulnerability management within development lifecycles
• Configure, monitor, and optimize cloud security posture using security ops tools
• Conduct security reviews and risk assessments for internal architecture, vendors, and APIs
• Mentor engineers on secure coding practices and secure defaults
• Support compliance audits and maintain secure workspace controls
