Job summary

Arizona Department of Economic Security (DES) is seeking an Apprenticeship Compliance Specialist to ensure adherence to Federal and State Registered Apprenticeship laws and policies in the Workforce Solutions Administration. The role may include remote work within Arizona, with occasional travel for state business.

You will review programs, handle complaints, and deliver training to improve compliance and performance.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of state and federal laws relating to public employment and equal employment opportunity.
• Skill in developing corrective action plans and maintaining cooperative relationships.
• Ability to present information clearly in written and verbal form.

Responsibilities

• Conduct compliance reviews, assessments, and monitoring of Registered Apprenticeship programs.
• Investigate complaints concerning Registered Apprenticeship programs.
• Recommend conformity and deregistration status to Program Director.
• Conduct presentations and training sessions on Registered Apprenticeship programs.
