Job summary

The Medical College of Wisconsin, Inc. is seeking a patient scheduling and registration specialist to support Froedtert & MCW patients across multiple locations.

You will handle appointment scheduling, cancellations, and registrations, ensuring accurate insurance verification and seamless access to care. This hybrid role (95% remote, 5% onsite) requires strong customer service, proficient computer skills, and familiarity with EPIC.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum 2 years of customer service or call center experience.
• EPIC experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is highly beneficial.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to verify insurance and registrations accurately.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, cancel and reschedule appointments by phone for multiple specialties.
• Triages calls and provides excellent customer service.
• Assist patients with MyChart activation and scheduling online tools.
• Complete patient registrations and insurance verification.
• Process MSP questionnaires for Medicare patients.
• Coordinate referrals and route inquiries to the appropriate teams.
