Job summary
e-STORAGE, a leading battery energy storage systems company, is seeking an Applications Engineer (USA) to provide expert pre-sales technical support for utility-scale BESS projects in the USA. You will size systems, draft preliminary designs, and deliver value engineering while collaborating with commercial and engineering teams.
The role requires a strong background in BESS integration, with a focus on developing proposals for new storage projects and delivering exceptional technical assistance
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline (Electrical/Mechanical preferred).
- 3+ years of Applications/Systems Engineering in the BESS industry for a BESS integrator, battery OEM, or related field.
- Ability to read engineering schematics and technical reports.
Responsibilities
- Serve as technical champion in customer discussions and provide product/VE input.
- Conduct technical presentations and clarify questions for customers and internal teams.
- Analyze RFPs to determine project scope against schedule and requirements.
- Lead technical sizing of BESS projects using internal models and tools.
- Prepare technical docs for proposals and coordinate bid packages.
