Job summary

Remote DXB is seeking an Application Tester to ensure quality across web, mobile, and desktop platforms. You will design and execute manual test cases, perform regression testing, and collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to resolve issues.

The role requires hands-on testing, familiarity with Jira, TestRail or Azure DevOps, strong English, and a reliable remote setup.

Qualifications

• Experience as Application/QA/Software Tester.
• Hands-on experience testing software applications.
• Experience creating and executing manual test cases.
• Experience identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects.
• Familiarity with Jira, TestRail, or Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Execute manual and automated tests to validate application functionality and quality.
• Review requirements, user stories, and specifications to identify testing needs.
• Create and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and testing documentation.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, usability, and exploratory testing.
• Identify, reproduce, document, and track application defects.
• Retest resolved defects and perform regression testing after application updates.
• Validate application functionality against business and technical requirements.
• Perform cross-browser, cross-platform, mobile, and device testing.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to resolve issues.
• Support release testing, deployment validation, and production verification.
• Maintain accurate records of test results and defects.
