Job summary

Remote DXB is hiring an Application Tester to join our fully remote team. You will execute manual and automated tests, create test cases, and document results to ensure software quality.

You will collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers, perform various testing types, report defects, and assist with release validation. English proficiency and a reliable remote setup are required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Application Tester, QA Tester, or Software Tester.
• Hands-on experience testing software applications.
• Experience creating and executing manual test cases.
• Experience identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, TestRail, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
• Understanding of software development and release processes.
• Experience testing web, mobile, or desktop applications.
• English proficiency.
• Reliable internet connection and suitable setup for remote work.

Responsibilities

• Execute manual and automated tests to validate application functionality and quality
• Create and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and testing documentation
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, usability, and exploratory testing
• Identify, reproduce, document, and track application defects
• Validate application functionality against business and technical requirements
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to resolve issues
• Support release testing, deployment validation, and production verification activities
• Maintain accurate records of test results and testing progress
