Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated seeks an Associate Application Engineer to provide technical and commercial support for distribution protection and control products, serving as a liaison between customers and Hubbell subsidiaries. This role develops expertise in product lines to assist with applications, troubleshooting, and customer support while ensuring satisfaction.

You will review RFQs, respond to inquiries, collaborate with Engineering and Marketing, and travel to customer sites to support long-term

Qualifications

Customer-facing experience with technical support and solutions.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical/General Engineering or related field; associate degree with relevant experience may be considered.
Experience in electric utility industry or applications engineering is preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication; able to present complex technical information.

Responsibilities

Review customer RFQs and product applications to identify suitable products and participate in quotations.
Respond to inquiries, coordinating with Production Control, Engineering and Marketing to develop solutions.
Collaborate with Engineering and Production to meet customer requirements.
Travel to customer sites and industry events to build relationships and support growth.
Maintain knowledge of Hubbell products, applications and industry standards to provide effective support.
