RTX is seeking an experienced Application Engineer - DevOps & Engineering Tools to deploy, administer, and support enterprise-wide software and DevSecOps applications. You will leverage containerized solutions to optimize deployments across classified and unclassified environments, joining a diverse, regionally distributed team.

You will help migrate legacy technologies to modern container-based, cloud-hosted, Git-based solutions while ensuring security posture and compliance.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 8+ years experience (advanced degree +5).
• Strong Linux system administration experience.
• Experience deploying COTS apps in on-prem and cloud (AWS/Azure).
• Hands-on Docker/Podman expertise.
• Automation using Bash, Python, or PERL.
• Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsabilidades

• Deploy, sustain, and support enterprise apps on‑prem and cloud using DevSecOps.
• Develop deployment automation and infrastructure-as-code templates.
• Ensure cybersecurity and compliance posture of hosted solutions.
• Support pipelines and optimize build/test processes.
• Resolve incidents with Level-1 support and build knowledge base.
• Plan migrations from legacy systems to modern platforms.
• Develop enterprise solution architectures and present metrics.
• Engage stakeholders to align deployments.
• Implement monitoring to maximize uptime.
