Job summary

DEWESoft, LLC seeks an Application Engineer to lead technical excellence in aerospace and structural testing. You will design custom DAQ architectures, validate performance on test stands, and synchronize sensors across accelerometers, strain gauges, pressure transducers, thermocouples, and high-speed video.

Requires 5–7 years in field/test labs and a 2–4 year engineering degree; travel is 50–75% across the U.S./Canada, with strong emphasis on hands-on problem solving and customer collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of hands-on field or test lab experience in aerospace/structural testing.
• Deep familiarity with dynamic signal processing and vibration/NVH analysis.
• Experience setting up CAN/ARINC, PCM telemetry, Modbus, OPC UA, or EtherCAT data protocols.

Responsibilities

• Architect high-speed test solutions with cross-functional teams.
• Execute live proofs-of-concept on test stands and ground-test cells.
• Bridge multi-sensor systems including accelerometers, strain gauges, pressure transducers and thermocouples.
• Co-pilot high-stakes sales during deep-dive evaluations and RFPs.
• Influence future DAQ hardware and software based on field needs.
