Job summary

Teradyne Defense and Aerospace Field Applications team seeks an energetic Field Applications Engineer to develop and deploy high-performance test solutions for digital, mixed-signal and RF electronics. You will collaborate with test engineers and customers, review schematics, and optimize test coverage for defense and aerospace programs across Central or Southeast USA (TX, NC, SC, FL, GA, MA, NJ).

The role requires strong engineering and programming skills, travel (>50%), and ability to obtain

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher degree in electronic/computer engineering or related field

Responsibilities

• Develop, debug and deploy test solutions for Digital, Mixed-Signal and RF electronics
• Test program software development in a collaborative environment
• Review test adapter schematics design and layout for test solutions
• Analyze problems and recommend improvements on Teradyne ATE platform to optimize customer throughput
• Understand customer requirements and improve test processes and coverage
• Demonstrate tester capability for customer evaluations
• Provide training and technical exchanges with customers
• Develop strong customer relations at a technical level
