Job summary

Maximus is seeking a skilled Appian Developer to design, build, and deliver enterprise-grade applications using Appian components. The role requires strong SQL skills, Agile/Scrum experience, and the ability to work in a remote setting with Federal contract awareness.

Candidates must meet security clearance requirements (Public Trust) and have 3+ years of hands-on Appian development, plus a relevant degree or equivalent experience. Salary ranges from $120,000 to $135,000 per year.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on Appian development (v17.x or higher).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and configure enterprise applications using Appian components (SAIL, Process Models, Records, Reports, Web APIs).
• Design and implement secure integrations using RESTful APIs and authentication patterns.
• Perform SQL data modeling and database design.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize Appian applications for performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Understand/expose AI technologies and potential Appian AI integrations.
