Job summary

Maximus seeks a highly skilled Technical Lead Appian Developer to drive the design, development, and implementation of complex case management and workflow automation solutions in a federal environment. You will lead development initiatives, implement AI-driven capabilities, and ensure compliance with strict security standards.

This remote role requires a Public Trust security clearance and citizenship; you will work with Appian, AWS, and Oracle technologies in an Agile setting to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent).
• 7+ years of Appian development experience in enterprise-grade apps (Appian 17.x+).
• 3+ years in a technical lead or senior developer role leading teams.
• Experience delivering mission-critical apps in federal or regulated environments.
• AI/Automation: experience or strong interest in integrating AI into business processes; familiarity with Appian AI.
